We're expanding rapidly and need qualified personnel to keep the growth moving! We are located in Cedar City Utah, home of the Shakespeare Festival. If you're looking for a great place to put down some roots where the atmosphere is quiet and relaxed and the scenery is out of this world, look no further. With six national parks in close proximity, there is plenty to see and do. When God landscaped this area, we think he was just showing off! | Project Engineer |
We have an immediate opening for a project engineer. Must have a degree in electrical engineering (P.E. is a plus, but not a requirement.) Must possess the ability to design power distribution equipment. We currently use Autodesk Designer (3-D) for designing all of our switchgear. Familiarity with AutoCAD is a must. In addition to designing Medium Voltage Switchgear, selecting components according to specifications and generating bills of material is also required.
You will interface with our production manager and engineering manager during the course of your project. Good communication skills and ability to communicate clearly and concisely is a must!
Clear and concise instructions is a must have quality. Attention to detail is a must. Good sense of humor is optional, but it really helps.
Qualifications:
- Must have experience in switchgear design either in a manufacturing or consulting environment. Min 5 years experience.
- BSEE degree preferred but will consider experience level as alternative.
- Experience in AutoCAD a plus.
- Must have good organizational skills to mange multiple projects.
- Some travel required.
- Must be able to interpret Plans and Specifications, make Single Lines/Three Lines/Mechanical Layouts/Component Selection
- Need to have some trouble shooting experience on actual equipment to be able to work with test department.
- Must be proficient with standard software packages (Word, Excel, etc)
Preference to relocate to Cedar City, UT. Will consider satellite office as alternative but must be in Utah.
Salary range:
$45-75K depending on qualifications and experience level

| Wireman |
We have an immediate opening for an experienced wireman. (One of our best wireman is a woman, so don’t be fooled by the job title.) Must be able to read on-line and three-line schematics, connect devices using a point to point wiring diagram and have the ability to wire electrical controls for switchgear and control panels, with no mistakes. If you make a mistake, & and our QA finds it, NO SOUP for YOU!!
