On fast track projects, to eliminate the delay time in the submittal process, we have flown our engineers to the customer with a complete set of submittal drawings for immediate review and approval.
After a short face to face meeting, we're able to make notes, red-line changes and leave the meeting with a release for manufacture. What would have taken weeks to accomplish is done in a matter of hours.
